10 Dive Package with a top team of friendly Dive Professionals

Just completed my 10 dive package with This team of consummate dive professionals. I had the please of diving with all four of the them across the different dives and each was an absolute pleasure to dive with. Their local knowledge was amazing they are also really friendly and exactly what you would expect from a professional dive centre. The introduced me to dive sites at El Cabron, Tufia and Puerto de Mogan. Each had so much diversity of life and the team always knew where to look for it. Highly recommend this Dive Centre to anyone looking for fun underwater guides, try dives or diving course while on holiday. Massive thankyou to Mike, Marion, Veronica and Alan.

FAQ'S

  • We will pick you up from your accommodation en route to the dive site for the day. Pick up times vary between 8:30-9:15am. Your diving equipment will be ready and packed for you in the van ahead of time to make the morning run smooth and to get you in the water as soon as possible.
  • Our dive sites for our certified divers are all around 30-45 minutes drive away.
  • Once at the dive site you will get ready and then listen to a thorough briefing from your dive guide who will explain the dive site and the safety procedures to you.
  • You will then enjoy two beautiful dives with a surface interval in-between
  • After the dives your guide will drop you back at your accommodation between 14:30-15:00 so you still have plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your afternoon.

You’re welcome to bring your own, or rent full sets or individual items from us—everything is high quality and well-maintained.

We like to get the official things out of the way so we can concentrate on having fun and showing you the best time underwater therefore we please ask you to bring your preferred payment method on the first day of diving as all payments are made before diving. Payment can be made in cash (Euros) or by card (except American Express) If you wish to pay by bank transfer we please ask you let us know in advance so we can organise this for you.

Unfortunately we are not allowed to provide refreshments as we do not have the necessary licenses to prepare or serve food.
We will always have fresh drinking water available in our vans for you to fill up your own water bottles. We always recommend bringing a snack or light lunch with you on your dives for during your surface interval or after the dives.

We do not have a fixed schedule for when we visit dive sites. This is because our daily dive location is always decided based upon the weather conditions. We always aim to go to the best site that day based on the weather to ensure you have the best time underwater with us possible.

Yes! You can dive in Gran Canaria from January to December. In fact this is one of the reasons we chose to relocate to Gran Canaria as it meant we could dive every day of the year

In Gran Canaria the water temperature is around 18-20 degrees in the winter months (January to April) and between 21-24 degrees Celsius the rest of the year. The air temperature during the day does not often go below 20 degrees Celsius at any point of the year (and this would be a cold day for the locals) and the sun shines over 300 days of the year meaning we are lucky enough to wear shorts and t-shirts every day!

In Gran Canaria we have a wide variety of different marine life to be seen whilst scuba diving in the waters surrounding the island. On nearly every dive you have the opportunity to see life such as octopus, cuttlefish, barracuda, trumpet fish, parrot fish, wrasse, damsel fish and much much more.

Whilst diving we also often see different species of rays including the common sting ray and butterfly ray. If you’re very lucky you may even see an eagle ray or a seahorse.

Angel sharks also call the ocean of Gran Canaria home. This critically endangered species can be seen whilst diving here. For the best chance to see an Angel Shark we recommend you book diving between December and April as they prefer the cooler water temperature.

Yes we offer a free pick up service to our divers from all costal towns in the south of Gran Canaria including:

  • Maspalomas (Playa del Ingles, San Fernando, San Agustin, Melonares)
  • Puerto Rico
  • Playa de Mogan / Puerto de Mogan – Arguineguin
  • Tauro
  • Taurito
  • Playa del Cura
  • Platalavaca
  • Anfi del Mar
  • Pasito Blanco

If you are unsure if we offer pick up from your location please contact us and we will let you know. If you are staying further away we can either meet you directly at the dive site or we can pick you up form the bus station in Puerto Rico

As of July 2020 all divers can now self declare themselves fit to dive via the PADI Medical Questionnaire (which will be provided to you by us before you dive)
If the medical questionnaire indicates that you require a signature by a professional doctor in order to dive you must be acquire one prior to your first day of diving with us. If you have a medical which has been signed within the past 12 months then it is still valid.

If you are unable to get this form signed at home or you are already in Gran Canaria we can advise you of a local clinic here.

This depends on under which organisation you are certified under. If you have a PADI or SSI diving certification we can check online. However if you are certified with a diving organisation such as BSAC, CMAS, FEDAS etc. we are unable to check online. In this case we would ask if you have anyone back at home who can take a photo of your diving credentials for you as you are legally required to have proof of certification with you when diving in Gran Canaria.

Top tip: to avoid this problem happening take a photo of your diving certification details (back and front) and e-mail them to yourself. This way you can always have access to them if you find yourself on holiday and fancy a dive but have forgotten your card at home.
